The Wait is Finally Over

It is about time that head coach, Randy Shannon, has named an offensive coordinator. According to Sun-Sentinel.com, ""We're happy that we have a great new offensive coordinator, an energetic person who brings a lot of ideas to this program and to this team," Shannon said in a written statement."

On behalf of the Hurricanes fans around the nation, we too are happy that the football team has an offensive coordinator. After reading the message boards on Grassy, many fans were getting anxious and irritated as to why Shannon was taking such a long time to fill the position. Did you ever think that he was out looking for the right person for the job?

"It's a great opportunity," Nix told the Atlanta Journal Constitution on Friday. "It's a chance to go and get some experience at a different place. I think most people know what my goal is [to be a Division I-A head coach], and this is the next step." (Hurricanesports)

Looks like the fans will have to wait a little longer to have Shannon announce the names for coaches of the runningbacks and linebackers. So fans, be patient....we want the best coaches to lead the football team to a successful season!
